After the sun teased us earlier in the week by peeking it’s shy little face through the clouds, we couldn’t help but start to get excited for Spring to roll around.  And with a new season, comes a whole new wardrobe of outfit choices!

See our top fashion picks from our favourite designers, including Mischka Aoki and Tutu Du Monde, from frothy layers of pastel tulle to graphic print suits.

Mischka Aoki

Really, how could we start anywhere else?  Mischka Aoki are the queens of girl’s party wear, with their dresses regularly featured on the red carpet, and seen on the smaller members of the Kardashians and Beyonce’s daughter Ivy Blue.  They are renowned for their grandeur, their quality, and their fairytale gowns, which any little girl would feel like a princess in.  Of course, this all comes with a price tag.

Mischka Aoki

We adore their new SS17 collection, with rich, dusty rose layers and exquisite beaded detail on chests, head pieces and shoes too. If you are looking for a slightly edgier look for your daughter, look no further than their caged skirt dresses, that look befitting of Marie Antoinette herself.

In addition to their softer tones, the brand also offer acid yellows, fuschia pinks and sky blue pieces, adorned with flower details. You can see the entire, beautiful collection on Mischka Aoiki’s website.

Gucci

If your little girl is more fashion pack than princess party, Gucci is your bag.  Known for their edgy style and kooky aesthetic, your daughter will stand out from the crowd in their pieces. Who could not love this neon green frilled dress, complete with dog applique detail?  Just describing it makes us excited, now – look at the picture!

It is fantastic!  If lime green is just a step too far, we adore this softer pink dress, with red poppies on the chest and a smart black waist tie.  And it’s not just girls that Gucci is catering for.  Their boys line is just as impressive.  Just look at this gorgeous pastel blue blazer with cheetah pocket detail.

Tutu Du Monde

One of our favourite brands for little girls (you all know we are suckers for circus and ballet inspired outfits), Tutu Du Monde are a fantastic Australian brand producing delicate dresses and playsuits in pastel tones, adorned with sequins, feathers and showbizz sparkle.

Their SS17 collection is inspired by the desert, and features Tropicana inspired onesies and palm print trousers amongst their usual jewelled shorts and tutu dresses.  We adore this desert bloom tutu dress, with an embellished bodice and cascading skirt.

Tu Tu Du Monde

In addition to all of these fabulous dresses, Tutu Du Monde have a great accessories line, including a gorgeous range of frilly bikinis, sparkling hair grips and tulle headbands.  Check out the entire range on their website.

Baby Dior

We are seeing bold, block colours from Baby Dior this Spring, who are launching a gorgeous range of brightly toned girl’s dresses in time for the warmer season.  We adore this tangerine number, which is very much on trend for the season, and also love their forest green dress, a nod to Pantone’s colour of the year – ‘greenery’.

Dior Dress

They also have a fabulous newborn line, featuring cotton candy cloud prints, and a wonderful pair of teal dungarees.  As is expected with Dior, everything is made from the highest quality fabrics and is cut beautifully.  Real heirloom pieces to pass through siblings, wether they like it or not!

Dolce & Gabbana

Who does prints as fantastically as D&G?  Few, that’s who!  This season we are seeing boy’s shirts adorned with brass instruments, pineapple print suits and cockerels sat on silk jackets. We just love this jazz man look below, complete with braces and fedora. How cool can one kid look?

D&G Boys

The girls line is also full of treats, from full, black lace skirts to rose print, silk PJ suits.  We also love the mosaic print moccasins, and can not get enough of the brand’s gorgeous sailor inspired baby line.  D&G, you have done it again, and just as we were getting over splurging on last season’s Alice and Wonderland collection.

As you can see, there are lots of gorgeous options out there, from well known high end designers from boutique brands.  The real question is, where exactly do you start?  We wish you good-luck cleaning out those winter clothes and have our fingers crossed for a very sunny summer indeed.
