One of our absolute favourite kids brands here at Les Enfants is Bonpoint – and we know a lot of our clients love their gorgeously chic clothing too.
We were lucky enough to attend the Autumn Winter press launch and wanted to pop together a little preview to show you all just what is in store for later on this year.
With popcorn, pretzels and rosemary water, the Bonpoint ladies look after their guests well. The stunning Paris catwalk show was projected onto the boutiques’ walls, showing models in handmade animal masks parading a sandy walk way – with one young girl leading an incredibly fluffy white pony through the audience!
Bonpoint has divided it’s Autumn Winter collection into four different themes which we will explore in this blog post – Heidi, Wild, Sweet Couture and Jules Et Jim. The entire collection is inspired by the wistfulness of the circus, and their press event celebrated this theme in full!
The ‘Heidi’ range is inspired by back-to-school looks, injected with a little folk flare. Garments are decorated with Swiss dot cotton and lace, broderie-anglaise and Liberty prints.
Bonpoint’s much loved pea coat and sailor skirt silhouettes make firm appearances, adorned with golden buttons and felted Edelweiss brooches. We love this gorgeous blouse, with it’s embroidered detail and sweet scalloped sleeves.
The ‘Wild’ range is decked in rich fabrics such as cashmere, lambskin and mohair and is all about layering. We spotted this soft denim dress and couldn’t take our eyes off of the beautifully ruffled collar. This is a gorgeous piece, which would team wonderfully with Bonpoint’s incredible glitter clogs.
We also laid eyes on these stunningly delicate hairbands, decorated with wire stars, glass beads and flowers. What an easy way to inject some circus sparkle to an everyday look!
‘Sweet Couture’ celebrates the brands’ past and popular styles in brand new cuts and fabrics. It is a particularly gourmet collection, featuring sublime materials and wonderful finishes, such as mother of pearl buttons, denim rubbed with gold powder and silk velvet.
We love this stunning silver pleated skirt and jumper combo – the knitwear proudly decorated with Bonpoint’s trademark cherry print.
Finally, possibly our favourite theme from the four – ‘Jules et Jim’. The clothing from this collection see girls taking on a more androgynous look – as if they have borrowed pieces from their brother’s wardrobes. The catwalk showed stunning girls in two piece suits, dressed down with gold trainers and berets.
Other pieces that caught our eyes included this stunning ‘Baby Suitcase’, designed as a gift for new mothers to take to hospital for the arrival of their child.
Packed with stunning Bonpoint onesies, a beautifully soft blanket and a soft rabbit, we can think of nothing more special to give a new mummy!
We also loved the brand’s YAM collection – a selection of larger clothing designed for girls aged 12 – 16 who were brought up on Bonpoint. There were stunning corduroy dungarees, a button down denim skirt and beautiful grey berets.
So thank you Bonpoint for having us, looking after us so well, and showing us your beautiful Autumn/Winter collection. We are so excited to see it hit the shelves, we are almost thankful our British summers are so short!
