This week I visited Bubble London so you could see this year’s Autumn Winter party outfits here first! There were lots and lots of lovely stalls and fantastic designers – Here are my top picks of party pieces to keep your children chic in Autumn/Winter 2016.
I loved the deliciously bright polka dots on this wooly jumper by Where’s That Bear. This would go beautifully over a poppy red tulle skirt and a pair of white Superga trainers.
Speaking of gorgeous shoes, how lovely are these silver and gold baby’s pumps by Little Lulu’s? They are made from fine, Italian leather and are butter soft.
Little Zed London had a range of fantastic shoes for boys. I loved the worn effect on their tan and burgundy shoes, and their blue suede boots would pair beautifully with a bright trouser.
As we all know, I am a sucker for a pom-pom. Violeta & Federico immediately caught my eye, with beautifully bright knitwear and wonderfully minimalist prints. I adore their pom pom headbands, particularly the mustard yellow and floral print piece. Is it too late to wear pom poms in your hair at 25?
Junona had a fantastic selection of glamorous, full length dresses, draped in tulle and adorned with crystals. My two favourite pieces were their gold and feather jacket, which would make even a ripped pair of light blue jeans look party ready, and this stunning leaf detail tulle dress.
I spent quite a while with the lovely ladies at Lunares En Mayo. They had such a wonderful collection of whimsical, detailed prints, and were so friendly. This light blue, red polka dot shirt, with it’s gorgeous burgundy tie was a winner, along with their beautiful cream, gold and putty polka dot dress. My top pick from the stall was definitely their unisex floral shirt, styled with braces and light trousers. I think this would be a great party look for the kid who wants to stand out!
Again, spot the pom pom! These beautiful putty ballet shoes and copper glitter slip ons by TNY shoes stopped me very quickly. Simply adorable.
Outside the Lines was another of my absolute favourite stalls at Bubble this year. The ladies behind the brand had beautifully styled their stall – it looked stunning and showed off their garments wonderfully. I loved their navy, and neon pink layered tulle skirts, and this fantastically soft faux fur jacket.
There were some beautiful headpieces on the Cute Cute stall for newborns through to girls. I loved the texture in their feather pieces, and the detail in their delicate diamante headbands.
I am a bit of a sucker for a studded or glittered shoe. These heavy, black shoes by Young Elegant People caught my eye. The glitter shoe in particular would look fantastic under a light, frothy tulle skirt and give your girl’s outfit some East London attitude!
Soft, gentle tones from Wedoble, who showcased their gorgeous babywear. I loved the colours in the coral and dove grey dress here, and the adorable collar on their jumper and onesie.
Again, another of my favourite stalls. Lovely people, and gorgeous dresses. The materials used in Little Wardrobe London’s collection were stunning – soft, luxurious, and beautifully finished. The little details really stood out – gentle bows and lined buttons sitting wonderfully against soft silk and sequin.
Admittedly this is a weird thing to say about a shoe, but I will say it. Mini Melissa stock the best smelling shoes in the world. They just smell delicious. End of. This peony pair were my favourite on their stall – subtle and feminine.
Bohemian prints sit very highly in my books, and this gorgeous green and red dress from Bakker caught my eye. I thought this dress would look gorgeous with the Mini Melissa peony shoes shown above. And, I have good news – this piece is also available in an adult’s size! Hooray!
Finally, Rachel Riley. I have loved Rachel Riley for a number of years, and firmly believe that they fully deserve the attention that has been given to them more recently, thanks to their royal fanbase! This black and silver bowed dress was stunning, and their classic boy’s white shirt and navy short outfit was as gorgeous as ever.
So here we have you covered. Outfits for girls, boys, babies and you too! You should start to see these lovely pieces becoming available around September. Get your credit cards ready!
