Good Afternoon! Now that the summer holidays are over and the kids are all back at school, I hope all of you hard working mums out there are able to find a little more time to relax and focus on yourselves for a bit. The following post is just a collection of a couple of wonderful things that may help you do just that…

The ‘deep sleep pillow spray’ by thisworks is available for £16.00 at SpaceNk. This spray is a best-selling fragrance that will gently calm your nerves and soothe the body and mind. Simply spray onto your pillow for a simple sleep solution for those of you that struggle to ‘clock off’ at bed time.

Why not treat yourself and your home to a new candle from Space Nk. Diptyque are my absolute favourite brand, and the following candle, ‘feu de bois’ is a wonderfully smoky, woody scent, perfect for Autumn.

Voya are a multi-award winning luxury spa and skincare brand that use certified organic, hand-harvested seaweed from the West coast of Ireland. I personally first came across the brand at Fletchers Spa on the outskirts of Edinburgh, but after a little research discovered that the Appuru spa in Pimlico use this fantastic product also. I would highly recommend a Voya spa treatment such as the ‘Voya organic seaweed leaf wrap’ or the ‘Voya organic environmental defence facial’ to help you feel relaxed and rejuvenated. However, if you cant find the time, all of the products are available to purchase online from the Voya website.

If you are looking for a different kind of day out, why not simply drink tea & eat cake! Visit the Orange Pekoe for Afternoon tea in Barnes, south west London. A delicious selection of cakes and sandwiches are available as well as countless hand-picked leaf teas from all around the world to tempt your tastebuds.

However, If you are like me and cannot simply relax, why not indulge yourself in a little home DIY? Perhaps there is a room you have been meaning to finish, or a blank wall that needs a little touch up..

My new obsession: Blackboard paint. A little tricky to get used to, simply because of the thickness of the paint, but ofcourse, like all things- practise makes perfect!
Have a lovely week, speak soon
