Katie Burnett – Creative & Managing Director
Katie founded the company after working in the events industry for over 10 years organising a range of corporate events around the world as Event Manager at The Economist Newspaper. A mother of three, she is an expert juggler and has always made sure the office is a child friendly place as you never know who will be popping in next.
Katie says “I spend a lot of time researching, looking at images from around the world, the Australian and Brazilian markets are my favourite. I am passionate about everything being stylish and my role is to have the overall vision, I am very particular about colours and love creating unique, fun and unusual events. Clients who let me roll with it are my favourite.”
Helen Connolley – Events Director
Helen has a background in the travel industry, managing a team of 4,000 so working with an events team is second nature to her. Helen has spent many years looking at Katie’s moodboards so understands the Les Enfants vision completely. Her elder son Cam is a talented tennis player and part of the national squad.
Helen says “Customer service is the key to my role; I want the customer experience to be positive from start to finish and make sure we listen to our clients requirements ensuring the party is reflective of what our clients have asked for.”
Paula Watts – Operations &Events Manager
Paula joined the office to keep our events team in check but soon became such an integral part of the team that her role expanded to event management and sales. Paula is very hands on and has been developing our Little Party Hire business as well as working with our corporate clients. Out of work her three boys keep her busy with their sporting activities.
Paula says “When I joined Les Enfants I did not realise it would become a way of life, it has been a fast learning curve, but I love being part of such a dedicated and fun team.”

Lucy Carr – Senior Stylist
Lucy is Katie’s sister and it has to be said the most creative, talented perfectionist you will meet in the UK party industry. Her work takes your breath away with the level of detail. Be it tying 250 bows, or hand cutting out straw flags, Lucy is the best. Her engineering degree from Cambridge and her experience as a packaging technologist for premium brands definitely contributes to her role now.
Lucy says “As I work around my young family, I often spend many an hour in the evening watching pitch perfect whilst creating sweet tables and styled items. It can be challenging at times when we have the busy weekends but I adore seeing the photos of my work.”

OFFICE & OPERATIONS TEAM
Nicole Lintott – Finance & Office Manager
Our Accounts and Office Manager Nicole works part time but is definitely there to keep us organised, even if it means literally pinning Katie down to get her to do her expenses. Without Nicole our snack supply which is very important would not be replenished.
Nicole says “It can be interesting working in an office with a team who have access to a room full of sweets and another full of dressing up costumes, you never know who will appear next.”

Must not forget Chris our warehouse operative and driver, as well as our other team of delivery drivers.
